To deepen collaboration between the university and research institutes, and advance the integration of science and education as well as industry and education, on March 31, 2026, a delegation led by Chen Zhiyun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management and Engineering, Nanjing University, and Liu Huimin, Vice Dean, paid a visit to Nanjing Institute of Product Quality Inspection (hereinafter referred to as “NQI”). The institute extended a warm welcome to the delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on Party building joint construction, talent cultivation, scientific research cooperation, training empowerment, platform sharing and other topics, and reached a number of cooperation consensuses.
Zhou Jungui, President of NQI, warmly received the delegation. The visiting team toured the exhibition hall and key laboratories of the institute, and learned in detail about its achievements in inspection and testing, standard formulation, scientific and technological innovation, and government regulation support services.
At the symposium, President Zhou Jungui introduced the development history, business positioning and future planning of NQI. He noted that the development of the institute is inseparable from talent support from universities, and expressed the hope to carry out in-depth cooperation with the School of Management and Engineering, Nanjing University in Party building joint construction, talent cultivation, platform sharing, management training and other fields.
Secretary Chen Zhiyun spoke highly of the development achievements of NQI. He pointed out that under the leadership of President Zhou, the institute not only boasts solid business performance and standardized management, but also sets a fine example in integrating Party building with professional work. Secretary Chen introduced the school’s spirit of “self-reliance and courage to pioneer”, as well as its goal of cultivating interdisciplinary leading talents featuring “Technology + Management + Finance” for the AI era. He emphasized that the Party committee and administrative team of the school work in unison to serve national strategies and local economic development, and looked forward to establishing an all-round and multi-level strategic cooperative partnership with the institute. Vice Dean Liu Huimin elaborated on the school’s development history, discipline construction, faculty team and characteristics of talent cultivation. The two sides reached preliminary cooperation intentions on the integration of Party building and professional work, joint talent cultivation, platform and resource sharing, co-construction of training courses, and a regular cooperation mechanism.
This visit has further strengthened the cooperative ties between the School of Management and Engineering, Nanjing University and Nanjing Institute of Product Quality Inspection, laying a solid foundation for all-round cooperation in Party building, talent, scientific research, training, industrial services and other fields. In the future, the two sides will join hands and complement each other’s strengths, and support talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation and high-quality local economic development through high-quality university-institute cooperation.
